Our husky Jonas would love to welcome your pup. Here’s everything you need to know about traveling to The Honey Spot Retreat with your furry friend.

Dogs Are Welcome!
Please notify us and get approval before booking. No pit bulls or pit-mixes. The fenced backyard with XL doggy door makes traveling with dogs a breeze.
General Pet Rules
- 🐾Notify us and get approval before booking your stay.
- 🐾Pets must be up-to-date on vaccines and flea/tick medication.
- 🐾Please clean up after your pets immediately.
- 🐾No destructive behavior or potty inside.
- 🐾Please use the provided couch covers.
- 🐾Damage from pets — or unregistered pets — may result in the security deposit being held back.
Dog Rules
- 🐕Pick up dog poop before check-out using the provided doggy poop bags.
- 🐕Discourage your dog from digging in the yard.
- 🐕Crate your dog while you are away from the property.
- 🐕No dogs in the pool.
- 🐕Service dogs may not be left home alone and should stay with their handlers at all times.
Cats
Cats are not allowed on the property due to extensive damage and odors left by previous guests. We’re grateful to you for helping us preserve the comfort and luxury of this space.
Small Animals
- 🐹Alert your host if you’ll be using heat lamps and follow basic fire-safety practices.
- 🐹Keep small animals in their cages unless absolutely necessary.
- 🐹Birds of any kind must stay inside.
- 🐹Poultry and waterfowl must have applicable health permits.
- 🐹Do not let pets into the pasture.
Meet the Host’s Pets
🐎 Traveling with Horses?
We can accommodate up to 2 full-size horses (1 per stall) for an additional fee. Pine shavings are already in the stalls.
- • Send a copy of clear coggins and vet check before arrival
- • No intact stallions permitted
- • Park your trailer in the second driveway
- • Hosts are not responsible for the care or health of guests’ livestock
- • Please contact us about other types of livestock
Service animals are always welcome. By bringing a pet to The Honey Spot Retreat, you agree to this pet policy and accept responsibility for any pet-related damages.
