Magpie Duck Hatching Eggs

Possible to hatch black, blue, white and rarely silver. We do not know what colors will hatch beforehand, so we cannot guarantee specific colors. Hatchlings are not guaranteed to be breeder quality or free from DQ. You are welcome to contact us for pictures of recent hatchlings to see examples of what you may hatch from our eggs.

Full Dozen: $80
An additional $25 shipping fee applies to all hatching egg orders. Eggs are shipped in foam, double-boxed, through USPS Priority Mail on Mondays & Tuesdays.

Utility Quality Magpie Ducks

These are magpies that are overmarked or undermarked. These ducks are still wonderful egg producers, have fantastic meat, and are great additions to pet or backyard flocks.

Breeder Quality Magpie Ducks

These are magpies that are bred to SOP, bred to be the best egg producers and also better feed conversion. Contribute towards the Livestock Conservancy's mission of educating others about heritage breeds such as magpies when you take them into the show ring.

White Magpie Sports

It is believed that white magpies were used to create the Stanbridge White breed, which was believed to be lost until recently. There is no breed standard and it is unknown what other breeds were used to develop SWs. These ducks are wonderful producers and great additions to pet or backyard flocks. Their breasts pick cleanly and are perfect for meat. Read our blog post on why some magpies hatch white.

We are now First-Come, First-Serve

Unfortunately the wait list system did not work out for us last year. This year all of our hatching eggs, ducklings and adults are first-come, first-serve. I am happy to notify you when we have something available, but it is not a guarantee that you will be the person to get it. Please message me on Facebook for more info or to be on a notification list.

F.A.Q.: Can I get more than a dozen eggs?

F.A.Q.: Do you ship ducklings?

We are able to ship birds aged 16 weeks old or older, depending on temperature, destination state, and availability. We will give precedence to buyers who can pick up their ducks in person. Please expect shipping to cost at least $100, and an additional box fee of $20-$30 depending on actual box cost. Please visit our sales policy page to find out more.
